Case I.?Balgobind, a Hindustani male, aged 45, was admitted into hospital on the 26th April with a large abscess on the inner aspect of the right thigh and leg, the foot and ankle being at the same time inflamed and swollen. The attack of inflammation followed a sprain of the ankle received about a month before admission. The patient had constant high fever. 27ih.?The abscess was opened this morning by free incisions
